Das Zentrum für digitales Lehren und Lernen (ZDLL) bietet Anfang März spezielle englischsprachige Online-Weiterbildungen für Lehrende, die auf Englisch unterrichten, sowie für internationale Lehrende der Universität Graz an:

Active Blended Learning with Moodle (Webinar in englischer Sprache am 2. März 2022, 9:00 – 10:00 Uhr; Anmeldung bis 1. März über die Webseite des ZDLL): This webinar introduces the concept of active blended learning to encourage learning in and out of the classroom. Participants will acquire skills for how to use their Moodle course as a place for collaboration and interaction while providing a structured and accessible learning environment. The webinar will also familiarize participants with existing Moodle templates designed by the Center for Digital Teaching and Learning that can be adjusted for individual needs to save time when setting up a course.

Synchronous Online Teaching (Webinar in englischer Sprache am 3. März 2022, 9:00 – 10:00 Uhr; Anmeldung bis 2. März über die Webseite des ZDLL): This webinar will address key questions that need to be considered when teaching online in a synchronous mode (fully online or hybrid). Participants of this webinar will be introduced to the importance of online socialisation and to methods for building strong online learning communities. Other aspects covered are pedagogical models to design a synchronous online session and strategies of good practice for interactive online learning.

Activating Students and Collaborative Learning (Webinar in englischer Sprache am 4. März 2022, 9:00 – 10:00 Uhr; Anmeldung bis 3. März über die Webseite des ZDLL): After briefly introducing the importance of learner engagement, this webinar will present selected activities that help foster collaboration online and in the physical classroom. Participants will gain skills in strengthening social presence with digital technology and with different teaching methods to support students in achieving their learning goals, both in synchronous and asynchronous phases of learning.
